Microsoft unveils Arrow Launcher for Android




Android Smartphone can be customized in a number of ways and its more unexpected tools that emerged in this year is Arrow, an Androidlauncher application designed by Microsoft. This summer the launcher unfinished version were discovered by Google +group way launcher for their beta testers. The app has gone live on the Google Play store for all in trying.

This may be surprising to check Microsoft building a tool  which allows them in customizing the way they use their
  android smartphone, this can be reflective of the company strategy in embracing cross platform development trying to lock Microsoft own services and software. They can see this with the unveiling of flagship office application to compete with platforms like android and iOS and their virtual assistant app Cortana.

With Arrow, the idea is to offer various interface for their android and making it easier and instant to access their most frequently used apps and message friends, taking notes and accessing their favorite settings and apps.

The launcher gives an iOS 9 feel and without being direct clone of the iOS interface. Apple’s recent Spotlight search update  and now offers  suggested apps  and contacts when they swipe right on the iOS homescreen. Apple’s Siri suggestions will be based on regency an iOS will be considered how they will be using their phones and what apps they will be unveiling at different times during their each. Arrow offers a ‘Recent’ screen a similar ability to access their files, apps, photos and contacts they will be required quickly.

Apple recent spotlight will be searching update and now be suggesting apps and contacts when they will be swiping right on the iOS homescreen. Apple’s siri suggestion are based on their recency, iOS will be considering their phone or apps they will be unveiling at different times of day and arrows recent screen will be offering a similar ability to  access app, contacts, photos and others. These are the things they wanted to swipe through their screens and dig around their apps.
